Plant Orders

Plant Orders are internal production orders that specify what finished products must be produced and packed during a given production run.

Creating a plant order

1. Navigate to Orders ??? Plant Orders ??? New.
2. Fill in:
   • Order Date ??? the date production is planned
   • Customer / Destination ??? who or where the order is for
3. Add product lines:
   • Click Add Line.
   • Select the finished product code.
   • Enter the required quantity (cases, kg, or units depending on the product).
4. Click Save.

Processing a plant order

Production staff use the plant order as the authorisation to process stock. Once production is complete:

1. Open the plant order.
2. Click Record Output.
3. Enter the actual quantities produced for each line.
4. Click Confirm.

Stock is deducted from the relevant cooler/freezer locations and the plant order is marked as fulfilled.

Order statuses

Linking to costing

Fulfilled plant orders feed into the Costing module. The per-unit costs are calculated based on the raw material consumed and the processing fees applied to the batch.
