Equipment Maintenance

The Equipment Maintenance module provides a simple log for tracking maintenance activities on plant equipment.

Adding equipment

1. Go to Admin ??? Equipment Maintenance ??? Equipment List.
2. Click Add Equipment.
3. Enter the equipment name, category, serial number, and location.
4. Click Save.

Logging a maintenance event

1. Open the equipment record.
2. Click Log Maintenance.
3. Fill in:
   • Date of maintenance
   • Type ??? Preventative, Corrective, or Breakdown
   • Description of work performed
   • Technician name
   • Next service date (if applicable)
4. Click Save.

Viewing maintenance history

The maintenance history tab on each equipment record shows all logged events in chronological order.

Upcoming maintenance

The Equipment List view highlights equipment with an overdue or imminent next service date in amber (due within 7 days) or red (overdue).

Reports

A maintenance activity report is available under Reports ??? Administration ??? Equipment Maintenance History.
