Scan IN / Scan OUT

The Scan IN and Scan OUT modules handle inventory movement tracking via barcode scanning.

Overview

These two sibling modules record when goods or items enter (Scan IN) or leave (Scan OUT) a location, providing a real-time audit trail of inventory movement.

Barcode Scanning

The app supports multiple scanning methods (shared from core/barcode/):

• Camera Scanner — MobileCamScanner uses the device camera via mobile_scanner
• Hardware Intent Scanner — IntentBarcodeReader listens for intents from a connected hardware barcode gun
• Listener Scanner — ListenerBarcodeReader for keyboard-wedge style scanners
• Barcode Generator — BarcodeGenerator can render barcodes on-screen for display purposes

Scan results are captured as BarCodeScanResultModel and passed to the relevant service for processing.

Device Settings

Scan behavior (scanner type, scan-in parameters) is configurable via DeviceSettingsScanInModel and DeviceSettingsModel, which are persisted locally and synced with the backend.
